Dontè & Alicia
Her family calls her princess and I can see why! Hahaha
Alicia is an amazing person. She’s very loving and intentional about her time. She has helped me become the man you know me as today. Alicia encourages and advises me in business, holds me accountable and keeps me organized, does devotions & prays with me daily, and makes sure I’m eating instead of getting lost in work. I would not have had the growth I’ve had over the past 3 years without Alicia’s support.
Alicia is competitive and we both see ourselves as “the prize” so we’re constantly in competition over who can do more for the other. That shift has made these 3 years blow by, but keeps the peace and communication open in our relationship. I couldn’t have asked for a better mate. I listened to what God told me and I pulled up and locked it down!
You ain’t going no-where woman! LOL
Simply said, Donte is an amazing God sent friend, son, uncle, brother, mentor but most of all son of God.
From our first meetup at Starbucks, you've been the calm in the storm, peace when there is none to be found and a God sense of light. You're patient, overly generous always giving to others, compassionate, super sweet and a Jesus follower that I admire and love. You are a natural creator, the life of the party, my travel companion, and the best cook ever.
Over these 3 years, I've watch you grow in so many areas of your life and I am so grateful to be apart of your journey. Words can't describe how excited I am to continue to grow and create along with you. You are my prize!
Easter with Donte's Family
She found out how big the family was lol
Alicia's parent are both only children, and she grew up in a small family with her and her brother. When she met my family for the first time, she was embraced by about 15 people lol. She handled herself well and won the crowd over with her seafood stuffed shells!
The First Time She Said Yes
It happened on the couch
It was on this evening while sitting on her couch, I asked Alicia to be my girlfriend and she said yes. There was no special story, just a yeah and changing of our Facebook relationship status. I want to note she took like 2 weeks before she accepted the request Hahaha lol
How he proposed
She had no clue it was happening! Lol
Alicia and I met at the TLA on September 17th, 2016 and that's where I wanted to propose. I reached out to Alicia's parents on the 24th and told them I wanted to propose on the 25th. I then called JP & Olivia and told them the plan. They agreed to take candid shots of the proposal! On Saturday the 25th, we headed down to South Street to eat at Nora's Kitchen. When we parked, I grabbed Alicia's hand and pulled her across the street in front of the TLA. I walked over to an open space where JP could take some photos and I proposed! People across the street were cheering for the proposal and a couple guys walking past yelling, "pull up! I would have been proposed!" Alicia was confused, but when I got on one knee with the ring she was super surprised. She said yes, she would marry me and have my babies! 🙂
Afterwards, the street cheered us on and we walked to Nora's Kitchen. My family was there to meet us and we had a great time celebrating!
Our best friends who will help us and we highly appreciate that! Thanks for being there with us! We feel your help within the time and wish it lasts forever...

The best lesson I have applied to our relationship is as cliché as it gets. My inner voice goes “Are your words and/or actions aligned with God”? When Proverbs 3: 5-6 says “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding...Read More
